I don't think they were in a real lovey dovey relationship. It's possible that Gahui approached MC because she had a crush on him with a contract relationship where she could get more famous and he could promote his band, while she secretly had feelings for him.

@molly cavenaile ohhh maybe! I also think that he agreed to daiting gahui bc she asked him first, and he just went along with it. Since she said that he wasn't the type to compliment her, but the MC kept complimenting the FL!
