@Demon God yeah they don't explain the categories of elements that much and always give an in universe explanation of things (and sometimes not a very good one)

@Demon God They somewhat did. Essentially, the more of something that exists, the more powerful the throne. There is a lot of Earth, so the muppet thought that he was the strongest. However, everything in the universe divides into yin or yang so ultimately the MC is more powerful because he has dominated the source of both.
