Ok so as you know the person who is the mother of the ladies child is Gray sons sister right ok so while Danes at the hospital with the lady Graysons at the fire station waiting contently because he new that was one of Larains baby mamas. However the fire station gets called for a fire (it's Danes day off ) Dane decides to just go home but when he gets there his house is on fire and he starts freaking out screaming about Darling but then Grayson emerges with the cat having ran into the fire despite his fear to save Darling for Dane because its what Dane would've done ('what Dane would've done') becomes a big thing in the story and feeling he owes Grayson he makes a deal with him I guess you could call it. They'll date 3 months and then if Dane still hasn't changed his mind he'll never have to see Grayson again. Those are the events that should play out in the next couple chapters I believe
