What kinda of a crazy demon uses anesthesia? Why did he wait for him to wake up only to put him back to sleep? HOW TF DID THE MONSTER STALL SO BAD, THAT IT DID 0 DAMAGE DESPITE THE ESPER CLIMBING 666 FLOORS?!!.
Now. Assuming each floor took 30 seconds, that is 5 hrs 33 min. Cutting off an aprox 90 floor cuz i don't remember which floor the guide was kidnapped on that will be 4 hrs and 48 min. When I see this time. I suppose it's kinda fair.
But i can never understand why authors will protect their characters from harm until their so called saviour comes.
The guide cud've been slashed, maybe a broken leg, or arm. Or scars so vulgar that may have not caused much harm, but will always serve as the proof of his misfortune. The saviour cud've saved him from being worse off. It does not have to be a wound that would kill and make your life miserable going forth. I hate bullet proof characters. Bullet proof, cuz they are that strong is ok. But bullet proof cuz the author coddles u even if things wud've been worse off had this been a little bit more realistic is not ok. I kinda liked this story so far, cuz the guide is strong willed and willing to stand for himself. This just reduced him from a soldiee to a damsel who will always be saved by the esper and will go real soft on the esper 'cuz he got hurt for me'. Soldiers get hurt, especially when u r constantly at war, doesn't matter whether it's with humans or monsters, they have traumas too.
I just hope he does not up and go about as if everything is fine, when he goes back.
