@Alligator mom well, acting like this isn't exactly common, unless the person asking is subjecting themself to the rejection therapy, which is essentially rare. Given the nature of the attitude you usually face, this one is the complete opposite. It's like, "never let them know your next move"; that way the other party is more likely to hear you out, because they're curious.
