@Wellded Yup. For one thing, greenhouses require GLASS. And at that tech level, it's expensive at best and impossible at worst. Especially the large sheets of plate glass in modern greenhouses. (Plastic and glass are different in what types of light radiation they let through, and glass is the cheaper and more biofriendly alternative.)
