well... parents should parent their child in all aspects, and giving them their own sleeping area when they're old enough for it should be expected, which for most kids would be around 8-12.

There's a major difference between doting and caring, to spoiling and preventing growth, it's usually the latter case that causes most adults to mature VERY late
