HELLP the fact that this is INDIRECT internalized homophobia, it just scared him bcz of what his mother told him, the idea of what an erection is supposed to occur for, and to him the reason his erection occured didnt match up w that fact, so he freaked out. its like hes not even internally HOMOPHOBIC except this is literally internalized homophobia.
