@Saumya Mahajan they are literally sending him to Valhalla because they didn't want him around in the battle of the gods. They couldn't have made a better set up for ragnarok if they tried. I'm betting he comes back with an army of einherjar to complement the valkyries on his side.

@Santiago Torrez Segarra slight caveat though. Utgard loki is about the size of a regular person, and uses illusions to make himself and his court appear to be giants. They tried pranking Thor and he almost destroyed the world due to falling for those pranks. It is very possible that korin is just standing there and the gate of Valhalla was an illusion.
