Tldr; so far as ik from reading the novel (once again, I'm only a few scenes ahead of this so not very far), her obsession with him can still be seen as familial and not incestuous. Her father is paying attention to her for the first time in her whole life and she doesn't want to share that with others, especially when he genuinely is a busy man. Hoping that doesn't change for the worse too 😫
