Hot take: Until now his intentions have always correspond with Yujin's will to stay close, now that has changes while Aaron hasn't much. He is just more open about what he had only hinted at previously.
Hot take number 2: Flashlight handles this entire dynamic better than some other manhwas... not to name any ofc (roses & champagne, codename, passion, etc...). For example: we get to see actual thoughts of yujin other than just highlighting the missing consent, there is sexualization in the narrative, but only clear desperation in Aaron's and no romanticization in either of their perspectives. Also we get to see that Aaron doesn't draw satisfaction out of hurting Yujin, but rather that he is willing to accept that as a necessity in order to keep him close by (which is explicitly framed to be the only goal he's trying to reach through this action)
Okay that's it byee <3
