hmm they skipped quite an important part. In the Novel she shows her father the diary that Ashtartes mom wrote in, she had him read it then return it to her, this is why she says she hates them and then leaves them.

Time skip is coming up soon!! She's 15 (i believe) in the time skip! probably will come in about 2 or 3 chapters, the manhwa moves way faster than the Novel. They leave out quite a bit of details.
Probably going use that part in a different chapter. However instead of her giving it to him, he is going to find it himself; which adds a little more drama.
@Lulu if u use: https://imreadingabook.com/ashtarte/ i can't find any english translation so i use this one. it's in spanish BUT u can screenshot & use the google app to translate. it's pretty easy to understand. with the most recent manhwa chapter u should start from chapter 70 (only if u use that website i put in above!!for some reason on that exact website the chapters are off but the whole novel is there!!)
