If you know taemin from pay back, he always insults yoon jay back and that makes their dynamic really funny
not everyone has the same way of taking things. doesn't matter what are you gonna do under this situation, because it's not about YOU.
I think dan has already established that he doesnt wanna fight back because he doesnt wanna "get on his nerves". Crying is the only way to stop himself from lashing out and getting flogged.

everyone has a different sensitivity. looking seriously at this case, i think dan is just so hurt about this whole thing he can't stand anyone mentioning it. hes traumatized. everyone takes stuff differently, especially if it's a sensitive topic to them. tbf if anyone said that to me I'd cry too

He obviously got angry(you saw how he clenched his fists) but he can't afford to lash out at Jae-kyung cause he works for him and desperately needs that job so he cried to let the anger out
