So is he actually a zombie or brainwashed to think he is because he woke up to a tape recording or suppose news reports on zombies which could be cut out of a movie. As for skin colour it suggests zombie but it could be body paint from where he has been rendered unconscious so many times. Tbh I haven't seen him shower yet.
