@rangi His mother is basically apologizing to him for not noticing how hard of a time he was having. She says that she wanted him to be happy and thats why she didnt let her father send lyle away but in the end she failed. She's sorry and she wants lyle to be happy with the person he loves. At the end she says that lyle was her miracle and that she needed to protect him
