So just to understand yall tj simp buffoon in the comments, i reread the whole thing and made a list oand made some notes about tj, ian and jo (but just to be clear, i dont think nor tj or jo are good for ian but for different reasons) :

Starting with tj :

Tried to force ian into staying within the organization by putting him into a overwhelming amount of debt after he had to kill for the first time and was left traumatized :" he'll find it hard to survive on hard work anyway. Im going to tie him down with money, if he wants it back, he** have to pay fees for protection during emprisonnement, plus interest. All of it"

Proceeds (correct me if im wrong i think its after he comes out of prison?) To ask his men to "restrain" ian at a party, which causes for ian to break his leg and (even tho ian knew but didnt want to admit it) never actually told ian it was his fault that the men went after him.

Then the guilt rip,

Boy spends his life guilt tripping ian into staying with him, i say buying a whole house to someone who want to get far way from you is weird af but bro makes it simple and just says : "i can't help but use and lean on your guilt just so i can keep you with me longer" so we dont know the exact cause of ians guilt, is it related to the car accident mentioned when tj tries on the motorcycle (but idk if they knew each other that young) or the fact that tj got ian out of drugs and made him join the gang,

So, tj is fundamentally stuck in the past, he is completely dependent on ian and forces ian into staying when he know how the gang has hurt ian and how much he wants out

@TheGit Im going to talk abt ian quickly, so you guys dont say anything abt how they are "in love" or "need each other" idk,

Anway lets quote ian : "sh**, i cant help but think of the past everytime he (tj) comes around" (that was just to add to how tj Is stuck in the past)

Now how much ian wants to get tf outta here : "im getting out of here as soon as i get the money tied to jason as quietly as possible" -after getting out the hospital "i never wanted this kind of life from the beginning", clearly tells tj and his jason : "i dont want to do this anymore",

Now lets quote him describing his own relationship with tj: "we'll keep going in in circle over and over until we die" , "we were becoming more and more like monsters"- describing his relationship wth tj while he was still in the gang, " well just end up eating away at each other".

So no, its not good if they go back together, they are toxic for each other period.

Dont get me wrong, i dont know yet if tj is a bad person outside of his relationship with ian, but saying they are good together touch some grass and use ur brain

Now lastly, lets talk about jo:

Im going to adress the jerking off to ian after he passed out after s**, that is weird af.

now yall saying "Tj Daddyy would have never done thatttzzz" even tho he has had s** with ian mutliple time when ian didnt want to (and i would say that he eventually always gives up out of guilt to tj)

And beside lets bffr i think ian wouldnt give a single fu** considering his whole personality when it comes to s** (im saying this relating to their relationship not about jo as a person, i think masturbating to someone passed out is fundamentally disgusting)

Now talking about the facts that he kept the bandage to "guilt trip" ian, i just saw it as jo wanting attention from ian, ian is not guilty about he never goes "this is all my fault for getting you involved we should stop seeing each other before you get hurt even more" he always say "his fingers are hurting" and again bro he wasnt crazy mad about what happened to jo, he was mad that tj tried to controle him again by sending his men (but it the end tj didnt have anything to do wth so they just had s**)

Now lets be fr, the relationship between ian and jo is one sided, they are not in the same head space at all, jo is way to in love with ian and ian is still stuck with tj, now lets see how the story is going to make that possible.

But yall trying to make tj like the hero of the story is ridiculous and immature, he is not good for ian and they wont end up together at the end trust me lol.
Now personally i think jo is kinda boring and ian indecisive which is getting boring but i would rly like to see tjs past. And i hope ian is going to do something get the story to move a little faster i would be nice.

@Feinnnnn thank u :) and its not like i said i tought tj was a bad person himself, idk about that we still havent seen his backstory or anything, but there is absolutely no doubt that his relationship with ian is toxic and the things he has done to ian are toxic.

@TheGit i literally love how you described everything out and you put so much effort in it, couldnt have done better myself. It's so nice how u described every character since majority of the story was a blur to me (i have read it a while a go but still following)
