So he doesn't want to be guided because he is worried he might end up killing a guide during the process of guiding because his mind becomes blank (I guess) I mean its like an alpha in rut they become senseless..... I just want a clear back story of these two before I jump to conclusion and thank you for the update.

from what I read on another site, he was basically repeatedly sexually abused and segregated by an Esper at only the age of 15, which is why he is so “innocent” and slow. Because it is as if he was kept “in captivity” and psychologically and physically abused for many years. If I remember correctly, the Esper in question wanted revenge for Hynseop's failure to rescue the Esper's brother through guidance. But Hynseop was most likely young and inexperienced.
