@Danny You mean Fuyuki? He had to step down due to health issues, he was developing a problem in his wrist, which for an artist is basically a death sentence. He was encouraged by many to step down and take care of it, but it's still sad he won't be coming back, his art style was perfect.

If there was more going on in the back, I am unaware of it.

@AshiuRey That isnt the case at all. A quick google search and you can find Fuyuki's post and even Story. It had to do with how much they were trying to pay them. There was no health issue, they say that they are still going to he working on other things.

I have no doubt thats what we are seeing here again.

@Danny It wouldn't surprise me, really, a lot of artists are paid rather crappily for the amount of work they put into. But if it's true, then it's odd, because I remember and there are posts prior to the longterm Hiatus where it's stated by Fuyuki himself that his wrist was hurting a lot and a lot of people supported his decision to step down and recover.

Just went to check and it's Chapter 169.5 here. Perhaps his health was suffering and they decided to cut his pay. That's a more realistic view, given how nowadays everyone wants to be a leech.
