@Bj Alex probably. They've had a number of flags especially in the more recent chapters. There was even a bonus chapter set after Hatano's confession where he ran into him at a coffee shop and asked MOB to call him by his first name, Ryuji, and MOB did. He also asked about his interests and was told what they were (driving around, drinking), though how much of those interests was faked we don't know since the chapter was from Hatano's pov but it was cute. Hatano planned to get a job to make money so they could go on trips together. MOB even ended up taking Ryuji's recipt to pay for his coffee (probably by accident but then didn't want to make a scene setting it back down; but the world is gonna make it happen. Even in the chapter MOB readied to leave when Hatano showed up but the waitress came and refilled his coffee so he stayed to talk)
