@sawly imo its worse. In the matriarch, at least most other characters in the family were likeable enough. But here pretty much everyone is kinda trash and uglier

@sawly ah, yes, i was about to say the same thing. but, in comparison, i don't think this plot was well thought out. in the matriach, the plot runs more smoothly and paced well. also, she is actually the child due to regression (and not reincarnation), so there's a lot more emotions involved bcuz its her life and her family. gallahan lombardi was a good dad.

but who knows? maybe this story has something else to offer

@sawly it just has a similar premise, I don't think it's fair to say one is better than the other cause sometimes there are no good family members so I think this is also realistic. why isn't it well thought out? this is the beginning of the story and it's clearly about a different thing, reincarnation can be as interesting as regression. weird comparison imo
