I mean...I do believe his mom had some kind of mental disorder. People should be able to distinguish between fiction and reality but she clearly couldn't.

@Mihaela the problem is is that she did, she did distinguish the two.
She just didn't want to live in reality, she refused to. That's what caused her death, the pain of not being in the world she wanted to be in.
