Roen might actually be a psychopath, not the murderous killer kind but a person that doesn't express feelings and has difficulty expressing them unless they are tied to strong emotions. Psychopathy gets a bad wrap as the most well known are serial killers, but it is more like I know I should smile because others like people who smile, or an emotionless person who uses pure logic in explaining feelings and how one emotion can be a multitude of similar feelings to explain what they actually feel. (Happiness can be joy, extatic, enthusiasm, fun, laughter, etc...)

@Tristan Antono you're thinking of sociopaths, psychopaths are the ones that generally feel overwhelming amounts of hate and anger IIRC
Yeah I thought that when he instantly and emotionlessly killed that swordsman guy he was friends with for years
Feelings are just the brain chemicals doing it's work. Most people treat it as important cuz it's tied directly to survival instinct to create the next generation.
@Emili Lion tbf, learning that your friend brutally murdered and desecrated your mother figure would make them go from "friend" to "irreconcilable blood feud" very quickly

Psychopathy can usually semi-function in society and while they don’t feel emotions they can mimic them and are generally known for being charismatic and able to read others.
