alright, so throughout reading this I kept running into people saying "Zarmes must be Zed!" etc etc etc... with no confirmation, yet they continue to spout it like gospal... so lemmie put up a spoiler -.-

No, Zarmes is the pa** of a different reaper who has promised him eternal life if he causes the death of so many individuals (I thought it was 500k but I think there might be an extra zero on that so don't quote me on the number). This war is his way of doing so. Black fog is symbolic of dead souls, so when you see it behind someone or around something, it means they are reaping dead souls.
and there! dispell a myth with a little explaination just so that I can avoid the frustration of being over 20 chapters in and people still going "zed, zed, zed!"
