Yeah, but those oldies in murim alliance will do whatever tricks to hold more authorities and power in alliance by securing their own force. Last time, I read a murim manhwa and in that manhwa when a sect was asking for reinforcement to fight against demonic cult. Elder council were having a meeting to select people for reinforcement instead of immediate response for reinforcement. At that meeting, they were barking and cursing at each other. Lastly, alliance leader had to use his own squad for reinforcement.
