This doesn't make much narrative sense to me.. I mean, the baby undeniably looked kinda demonic, but as someone from noble-blood who was raised to maintain Elbaf's old traditions as a warrior nation feared by everyone, shouldn't the mother have been extatic to have a boy with such an impossing appearance and such monstrous strength? Weren't those dsrk horns a vestige from the first generations of giants they admired? It would have made sense if she rejected or despised a baby that was born disabled or weak, but not scary and baddass.
And rewardless of if she dislikes her baby, considering queen Estrid was obsessed with noble-blood, luxury, power and reputation... Wouldn't a woman like her have had cringed to her baby, considering being the mother of the king's heir ensures her social status and social influence? I don't know, I found her reaction kinda incoherent with how her character was presented.
Anyways... She's the very worst. Ugh
