This was such a nice chapter (like all chapters really). We all know (or are?) someone like Mukai: very proper, pragmatic and "serious". He feels more like a genuine person than a fictional character thanks to the genius penmanship of takamatsu sensei <3
It seemed like the author was setting up a storyline where egashira and mukai would end up together.
So i suspect mukai's girlfriend fits shima's scenario n°2 instead of n°1. Egashira's boyfriend also has visible red flags, so i wonder if a breaking up arc is coming up....
