yang kai is pretty stupid at that point wtf do you mean "the rumor is likely true"??? is it the fact that the guy existed? or is it the fact that the guy is dead?  for the former, theres no reason for yang yan to lie, so obviously it cant be that hes talking about the guy being real now for the latter, yang yan already explicitly said that the guy is dead, since the guy was the former star field master, and now that the star map is with yang kai, that means that the guy is dead (since theres only one such copy of star field map)... so wtf is this about "the rumor is likely true"? when its already established that the guy is real and is clearly dead already...  i'll give the author the benefit of the doubt since this story is so long, it makes sense for them to forget things
