Honestly they need to drop the whole ugly Cobalt thing he was cursed with. In previous chapters it was shown he has more magical capacity than the goddess right now her curse should have been shattered the moment that happened.

@Allen Osborn if thats true, you're right. it makes no sense why her curse is still effecting him
@Allen Osborn iirc the goddess didn't curse him to be ugly, those are his natural features. It's just that in a world where all hyumans (different from earth humans) are handsome and pretty, unless scarred or cursed, him NOT being so is enough to make him stand out as ugly. Best I can tell, he's actually relatively plain by normal world standards.
@baysiri I don't think the goddess actually cursed him, rather she just was a bit of an a*s in not granting him the hyuman language. Him being "ugly" is just because all of the hymans are always a 9 or a 10 on the looks scale, because the goddess made them to be that way, and he's ugly by comparison

@DK00 this is exactly it. The goddess never gave him a curse, she just refused to give someone that she thought was ugly any power.
The entire thing about him being considered ugly is just based on the fact that the world he is currently in has extra high beauty standards.
@Allen Osborn It's not a curse, he's just ugly compared to literally everyone else in the world. Dude is just a normal looking guy, but it would be like a normal guy being in a place entirely inhabited by super models.
