@Viewer 7 Yes but they are still looked down upon and no matter in what universe, the church being the church will not let the opportunity to make their influence grow slip away, and if Eugene were to be branded a heretic using the big undead to make up a connection between them, given his rising reputation the church´s already massive influence would skyrocket.

@Pro Yanker that is a possibility, however that paladin didn't seem so corrupt. At the start I think he mentioned he only kills dark mages and vampires... Well, what you said is possible.
