This is what I really hate about the BL community the double standard. Up to this point i have yet to see the red flag the comments have been referencing to ML. Their marriage wasn't ideal yes but that's to be expected as it was nothing but business. Neither of the two had any feelings or hopes of feelings for the other but had their individual roles to play as parties of the contract. Party A I'll say ML as they're the ones giving and losing more. Part B MC and his family who gain just from the association to ML's family. Maybe things will change once ML knowledge of MC's betrayal is known. And that's completely understandable. Maybe that's when he'll start to to awful person from MC's dreams of the present life. But at this point in time the red flag is MC and his family. Just his thoughts alone are alerting not to mention the sh** that comes out his family's mouth. ML many in the comments have villianized him but I don't see it that way. There is no way in any dimension where I being in a contractual marriage as the party losing the most would ever be anything but what I'm seeing here indifferencein everyand anyway. ML actions may often come off as cold, or neglectful, but never intentionally cruel. I'll say he does operates under rigid alpha instincts, social pressure, and power dynamics but this is typical of the omegaverse setting.
