Comment on ChapterLord Blackwood Promised Me Death - Chapter 8

I kinda like the princess because to me the duke is a bit childish like" i don't want a political marriage because my futur wife is a sociopath but still enjoy my privilege as a noble "
As if commoners had choice when it's about marriage plus have to live under a boss like him who swing his sword at anyone who took the wrong door. My point is that nobody choose their spous at Time so stfu at least you live in a castle big enough to almost never see her.

@Papyta ngl this is an insane take, his privilege as a noble is exclusive to her (he was born into that family) she has nothing to do with that. in that sense she's a spoiled brat forcing her way just because she has daddy the king and infatuated idiots behind her. that man fought on the front lines for years while the royal family sat in their gilded castles, she's using him as a stepping stone to assert her own power. god forbid someone refuses to be a pawn in a political game after sacrificing years of his life for something he clearly doesn't want to do. plus the princess is straight evil, she's admitted to murdering innocents just to get her way ??

ofc everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but the one who's childish in this case is the girl who needs daddy to throw the lasso

@kali@kali yeah i'm pretty extrem😂😂 but what to me the princess is not a brat she's aiming at the throne and is ready to have it by all mean. Surely have no right succession but still is fighting with all she gots (i'll be the 1st happy with her downfall she's crazy don't get me wrong).
So to me either you try to defy the system or you bend to it and shut your mouth.
If he wanted to he could've end this mascarade years ago without involving someone else in his problems. As a duke he sure has an army and royal descent to take the throne. Or he could've have state that the princess was forcing this marriage on him or renounce his title and live as a commoner.
What i want to say is that lover act in real life wouldn't stop the marriage and if he enjoy life as royalty than he should take the  duty that comes with it or be bend the rules by force to not be obliged.

@Papyta i mean even if he's powerful, unless he's willing to commit treason, she's still a royal. I find it unfair and cruel for him to have to give up his life for someone who's selfish and vile and kills anyone who is in her way.

ig we'll agree to disagree lol
