I think we all know that is not the case... If they did it Netflix and the actors would thank them since it would cement their place in the culture. However there was no better ending the directors were just useless morons so no real interference caused the show to end like that.

@Nobody yeah the show creators were literally making the script while the episodes were being filmed despite being given two years to write the scripts. They procrastinated for two whole years.

Exactly in this one, there was interference by some #$%& and so they changed it and people called it bs.
(i think the author might be throwing shade at that or smth along those lines and i am all in agreement)
@Nobody you saw how crazy The Stranger Things fans got over the ending. Imagine if there had been corporate interference and there had been a way better ending planned. They would have actually done this exact situation.
