@lvlHive I would like to start by saying that I think its because hes from outside the tower but to point out some flaws in ur thinking MC didnt get the title untill he touched the floor crystal and to my knowledge none of the minotaurs or rabbits touched the floor crystal of lower levels and even if they did its not like they can teleport like he can or they wouldnt have the mechant only pathways thoughout the tower so one would think since they cant teleport they cant get the "Player" achivements or whatever they are called

@Digital Squad "point out some flaws in ur thinking" Dont know why you had to phrase it like that... but to unpoint some of these 'flaws in my thinking' The Rescue squad used the teleport crystal to get here and even had a panel where they asked the minotaur king permission to use it. Not only that since the Crystals act as waypoints (aka the established reason he was stuck on the 99th floor despite being able to touch the teleport crystal a while ago) it means they must have touched this floor's crystal before at some point. The Merchant Shortcuts seemingly are ways to get to specific floors quickly without needing to have activated the waypoint beforehand which is why they would still be used even if they can teleport via the crystals. The one thing we both agree on as a plausible explanation is that he got it because he isnt a tower inhabitant sand inhabitants might not be able to get achievements.
