@Rush people do eat cactus in real life but I think it's closer to some Aloe Vera plants? Never tried one but I am surrounded by the prickly Lil devils!

@MimiBlaaaaaaaa 1.it was not cooked 2.in the desert or at a villag3.yes,since it stores water but it was kind of goosey 4.I don't know 5.no,it was not the only things can eat in a desert since there are villages in the desert they can eat things like mequite,Desert Chia,Agave ,Piñon Pine and Prickly Pear cactus mostly meat,milk and dairy products..also vegetables.
