Karlyle goes to pick up ash at his company because he buys a painting for ash and also wants to confess to him. when he arrives, he overhears ash's coworker asking him if he is in a special relationship with Karlyle. but ash seems embarrassed and denies it in a hurtful way and says that 'it's not that kind of relationship at all'. Karlyle is really hurt. but it becomes obvious to him that ash doesn't have any feelings towards him. so when he meets up with ash, instead of telling Ash his true feelings, he tells ash that they don't have to see each other anymore. Karlyle thinks Ash won't agree with him or stop him but Ash doesn't do anything and just smiles and says goodbye to him. After breaking up with Ash, Karlyle goes home preparing to marry the omega arranged by his family.
