@Prvrtslut  I mean what you said is like also true but the main reason alcohol exist is not because of like government or anything although it is indeed used by gov for their own benefit. Alcohol,cigarettes and other things like these stimulate the brain. It's sometimes used to keep warm.When you're in the influence you can focus better, you forget the world problems and are basically your true self. That's actually the reason why drinking is like daily activity in army, and why artists are generally drug addicts. It's has its ups and downs but tbh only the people with strong will power and resistance should use these as these things are highly addictive.
