If the creator wanted to portray a disturbing or maybe wanted to show a love that is mania and eros rather than pragma then they did it. 👍🏼 
This is more like a kidnapping case where this psycho kidnapped Agatho. Raped, manipulated, Gaslighted Agatho which made Agatho into the mess he is now as the story seem to have ended. Blinded by obbssesion this psycho ignored his own subconscious mind that was clearly telling him to stop. This is not good. This is no what you want. But this psycho is dumb too.
If this story doesn't continue and we don't get to see development of any kind then all I can say is
