Comment on ChapterWet Sand - Chapter 69

I will never understand people who are so desperately trying to justify Jo by distorting the plot and making TJ the villain, although even the author has said many times that he is not a bad guy.

We were even shown how TJ cried, realizing his helplessness & sincerely trying to help Ian get out of David Kim's hands and overcome drug addiction. He was the only one who stayed by his side when everyone turned their backs on Shin Youngwoo.

Is TJ to blame for coming to Jason to ask to accept them into the gang, guaranteeing protection? Should he really have just watched as his loved one was tortured?

How can you know their backstory & not understand his experiences, fears and true motives? Even Ian said that he can live without worrying about enemies wanting to kill him only because of Oh Taejoon.

"Jo is better"? You're talking about a man condemned Ian's lifestyle, manipulated and guilt tripped him by hiding the fact that his fingers were healed, deliberately prevented him from meeting TJ even though he saw them running to meet each other, raped him while clearly seeing his partner pass out, marked him as a thing without getting consent, lied to him that nothing happened.

It's true that every character has their flaws but you can't blame all the troubles on TJ who was even ready to die so that Ian could live.

@Dannie3  Omgg I love you!! 😭😭😭
Thank you for saying this. Though I don't think of Jo as a bad guy but that doesn't mean that Tj has to one then.
But yes I agree with every single word you said in Tj's defense 🦋
@Dannie3  I LOVE THIS COMMENT SO MUCHpepe stickerI wish it could be pinned
@Dannie3  Maybe then at least Jo stans will open their eyes and see the truth
@Dannie3  This is a really great and well written comment with good arguments! It's really sad to see how the characters' personalities are distorted...

THIS! It's not surprising that Taejoon was so protective of Youngwoo considering their background and what they've been through.
@Dannie3  By the way, that scene where Taejoon cried because of his helplessness and desire to help Youngwoo is even more heartbreaking in the audio drama...
