@silly because this is a sh×t story about a man with nothing and nowhere to go being forced to suddenly get along with the body that tortured him and suddenly they're going to get together. He'll never be given a chance to actually go out and see the world and see his options. He ends up with this one instead cause they'll be in some cliche scenes and he gives her some food and clothes.
