So he tells her he waited for her letters and then he heard the news that she collapsed. But it was also said that she was a dragon and that she promised he will be her family so she should stay here in this room and if anyone bothers her he will get rid of them and I will give you everything you want (actually this line is from the novel when he becomes crazy for the heroine so Eirin is shocked).
She declines him and says she can't be family with Richard but he is also important for her and now she has a family who she cares for and loves them very much so she can't stay with her and then he starts to cry and Eirin too starts to cry. She remembers her life as Cha Mi Soo when she was very young she used to pray to G** that she wants parents and siblings who love her. But now she has them so doesn't want to lose them.
When she rebelled once and was beaten to the point where blood oozed from her calves and at an unfair incident where she was left alone at the entrance ceremony or when she walked home with an empty bag alone at graduation.😭
