That is not my point, while the devil ex machina in this story has been, absurd.
In this chapter we have the "fantasy world DESPERATELY trying to become normal earth!" I found that absurd and annoying, closer to cauterising real world than anything else with that bs.
Now right or wrong i find the notion that a world with actual levels having humans not wanting to increase their level an absurd notiong since EVERYONE WANTS POWER...
