I'll tell you an open secret: capitalists hate capitalism. They love the money = power bit but not the markets are a nesscary function of capitalism part. They go out of their way to build monopolies, crushing competition.
although a life paying continual rent for things you can't own smells like feudalism to me. Ownership is critical to capitalism and things like ip expansion really mess it up
@Needtoread big businesses (or the corrupt ones anyway),hate capitalism because they want a market-dictatorship,they want to eat or own the competition,not be forced to make better products,greed is an inward condition that is never really sated,the greedy never have enough. In the bible it evens condemns them,comparing them to greedy goats who arent satisfied with just fighting the others for food,they have to muddy the waters too,do that no others can drink either.
