Bad writing. There's absolutely no reason why someone in that room can't kill this man be done with it. The author has to remove all reason from every single character to make this terrible plot point work

@lovechafes i assume its because he was the only other sss class esper, and he can make the guides die intsantly or smthn, idk maybe hes a mind control esper
