I just started reading the novel and you're right, that very first shmex scene is really rough vs what I was in the manwha. Also, the fact that they have repeated the rules of going into the gates to die hints at a very bad ending. But honestly, it's nice to read an esper type story that takes itself seriously. All the others are love stories and the serious aspect of what they do cant be taken too seriously because of the levity the love story brings. Im enjoying that side of it.

Is the novel finish?
If you mean all the volumes, yes, it shows complete on Ridi at 5 novels. It isnt completely translated yet though.
Do you know where to read the mtl version
Sorry Jsjs, I cant say that here. Pretty much all novel translations you can find for any novel are fan translations and are not authorized so every translator asks not to share it anywhere, but you can find it if you google it. That's how I found it. And it isnt a MTL version so it's pretty well done.
