Might be wrong but calling it now: the inter dimensional alliance we saw at the start are actually the villains and probably the culprits behind the monster invasion. And I think the demons are a group opposed to them. So far the demons don't seem to be evil, they're just a bunch of jerks

Actually, i saw that instantly coming as that super-Guy introduction, who handled the alliance-stuff, was sketchy and foreboding!
