this whole arc is the most ret*** sh** ive ever read, they legit have a character of high position that can tell truth from lie and have used them already for other cases but just forget it now it would interfere with the fact "i made the mc to powerful and now need to nerf him because i the "author" fuc*** up" moment im seeing, how the fu** does he forget this character exist when he used them at the beginning of the fuc**** arc "the mom figure is who im talking about" like this sh** if so full of plot holes.

@nicholsscott17 With all due respect, I don't think that stating he's lying is sufficient evidence in this case. So even if their father knows that the older one is lying, it might not be enough to convince everyone else. Especially since most of those present are part of the conspiracy, so their mother using her ability won't add much to the case.
@Ithirianka isn't that solved by another question from the mom. " Did you poison Abel?" That doesn't just establish he's lying that literally undoes the whole flimsy plan and it's crazy that exact situation didn't happen a chapter ago
