I don't think she would think a medallion of her is strange then. "*Falling* for a Street dancer and vowing to take care of her child", "born as a woman yet detesting men"...I think they knew she is bi👀. And about "sister", in Japan, China and Korea it's quite common to refer like that even to friends or lovers.
Also why would she then fall in love with Felix only now? They were "fake" partners in parties etc. already so long and he clearly likes her.
