This doesn't make sense. If she really cared about money, why would she ever try to elope. And if she was so sheltered that doesn't know how the real world works, why would she even elope in the first place if she didn't believe in "love"?
Her character doesn't really make sense and is written pretty badly. It's okay if she is a bi*** and all, but she should at least be a bi*** that makes sense.
