@Deez from what I remember the @ is to show that gaeul is speaking in a old fashioned way -- which is why the viewers first thought she was an old man at first based on the way she commented. she also brought that into her daily language which is why the bullies were picking on her because they thought it was her attempt at seeming 'cute' when its really just how she learned korean
