@The_Illusionist really? I thought it was in the side stories or near the end of the novel that we meet asiel cos she is pregnant when he remembers the past 

@Whatever he borns near the end. She gets pregnant in the middle of the story 

@Florgnar does the past reveal happen before the pregnancy or are they still fighting as a couple

@kali I searched Google. Its says he remembered fragments before pregnancy. But by the time she is fully pregnant and has fleed upon realising she is pregnant, she then gives birth in hiding and he finds her and they have a confrontation of why she left etc which is when his memory of the past life fully returns. Google it says its middle of novel but who is to trust googl ai finds... although they were accurate for under the oak tree when I searched for that
